I'm using this theme in Elementary OS Freya right now, and I was wondering how can I make the drop-down arrows show up in pantheon-files? I just get a question mark where the drop downs should be.

Don't worry LPCWSTR, this person doesn't seem to have a heart in the true Spirit of FOSS!

Any way to add the Unity bar code from Numix to make them match? I manually added the CSS for it from Numix to Numix Flat Dark.

Thank you so much, by the way. I have poor eyesight and dark themes are a must to not strain my eyes.

Well worth the $5 or whatever I paid for this.

It's a shame so many people are begging for at theme that costs about as much as a Starbucks coffee, lol.

Hey, sorry, I'm a bit of a new with linux and I'm not sure which of these things is relevant: I have Lubuntu, with Openbox and LXDE. Will I be able to use this? I'd like to know before buying :)

Well now you do. ;)
But if I wasn't it is still a product which we (Numix team ) made so we are free to charge for it if we want to, especially considering we give all our basic stuff fore free.

I have no coins, would you share this for free?

I'm 99.9% sure you are using a Linux distro you got for free.

So what do you say? I'd really like to use this theme, if it works ok on my box.

I hope you'll please share in the good Spirit of OpenSource...

Thanks

I have actually donated 20 bucks to the distro I use (I use Ubuntu). ;)
Now, the reason I can't give you this away for free is simple - all the other users have paid fr it, it would be unfair to them if I give it away to you for free. Double standard is something we can not afford to have.
P.S. Open Source and freebies are cool and everything, but remember - we (people that create software and designs and everything) are still human and we need to eat and pay bills and stuff, so we need money like every other person and Numix happens to be my fulltime job for now and I don't wanna be left starving by giving paid stuff we've worked upon for free. That would be really bad.

Great theme! I bought it last month through the Ubuntu Software Center and have been using it ever since. A couple of things, though.
1. The theme has rendered the Ubuntu Software Center to near-uselessness. The fonts blend completely in with the background and I can't read anything.

bit.ly/RffjVc
bit.ly/RffzU2
2. Some website search bars such as in YouTube aren't a big fan of the theme either. Searching for a video either in the search bar or on someone's channel renders the text either difficult to read or literally impossible to see without highlighting it.
bit.ly/Rfgrbl
bit.ly/RfgqnO
bit.ly/RfgvYM <-- to show what the channel search bar looks like initially.
(P.S. Don't panic about the green, I use a theme config to modify the highlight color. This problem existed before I did that though.)

Can you think of any way to fix these or release an update to do so? I would love to be able to use this theme to its fullest extent.

USC uses custom CSS which cannot be overridden by the theme. The case is same with all dark themes. So nothing can be done :(

Also, same about firefox. Chrome doesn't have such issues.

For me Chrome has issues and Firefox works like a charm. It's really annoying with dark themes because they look so good.

Maybe include the instructions I posted into a readme or into the description of the theme? I'm sure it could help a lot of people out!

Update: I went ahead and fixed the Ubuntu Software Center problem myself. This wasn't a fault on your part, this is an inherent flaw with USC in general that affects other dark themes as well. I ran

gksudo gedit /usr/share/software-center/ui/gtk3/css/softwarecenter.css

and changed the first two lines from

@define-color light-aubergine #DED7DB;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #F4F1F3;

to

/*
@define-color light-aubergine #DED7DB;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #F4F1F3;
*/

@define-color light-aubergine #333333;
@define-color super-light-aubergine #333333;

which made the USC much, much easier to use. It even went and themed everything else correctly!

Also, I probably should have mentioned that the problems I was having browser-wise was using Firefox, and sure enough, the problem I had affects other dark themes as well! To fix that, I used the guide posted here: bit.ly/1hngKav <- Link to askubuntu.com
I would recommend changing the background line of code given from #aaaaaa to #eeeeee or even #ffffff, since that grey clashes a bit too much for my liking, and remember if you're editing with gedit to switch to plain text before saving by clicking on the little button that says CSS. Plain text is near the top.

Again, thank you for the theme, and I hope this helps others!

I just found that Firefox theme has a ugly gradient on Firefox selected tab, but I didn't found the ff.css file inside the theme folder.

Firefox is not native gtk, so cannot do anything. And it's not even gtk3 yet, so no CSS.

I know that is not native GTK, but already saw a lot of themes that have "ff.css" to make some changes.

Hmm... Might be for the GTK3 version of firefox which is not released yet. Or may be some other app. Who knows!
